“Pulcinella bella” is a song inspired
by the carnival mask of Alessandria del Carretto, a small village of 355
inhabitants in the province of Cosenza. It is a very engaging song, in
fact it is a sort of upbeat pizzica in Renanera sauce, but the big surprise
is the artist with whom Unaderosa and Antonio Deodati chose to collaborate.
This is maestro Mimmo Epifani, from Puglia from San Vito Dei Normanni,
who is considered by critics to be one of the best musicians and connoisseurs
of ethnic music at an international level for the technical innovations
of improvisation applied to his instrument, the mandolin, as well as for
the technique of the “barber's mandola”. |
